Im letzten Jahr hat sich viel getan. Wie reden über digitale Abhängigkeiten und über Alternativen. Fürs Fediverse allerdings konkret wenig. Wir können wir +1 und andere politische Forderungen fürs Fediverse umsetzen?
Das Bündnis "Offene Netzwerke und demokratische Öffentlichkeiten" hat sich letzten Herbst nach dem Fediday gegründet und hat 4 Forderungen an die deutsche Bundesregierung formuliert, die das Fediverse und offene Netzwerke unterstützen würden. Doch was braucht es, damit wir unsere politischen Forderungen wie das "+1" besser hörbar machen?
Sandra is an interdisciplinary scientist and policy advisor based in Vienna and Berlin. She is co-organizer of of Berlin Fediday. She is committed to digitization for the common good, actively advocating for interoperable digital infrastructure across Europe. She initiated the Alliance of Open Networks and Public Spheres for the EU Summit of Digital Sovereignty, which has attracted the support of over 30 organizations. Sandra speaks at international conferences such as FOSDEM, SFSCon & DisinfoCon. She has moderated Vienna’s net-political evening for many years, fostering dialogue on democratic alternatives to the platform economy. As a member of Digitale Gesellschaft and Wikimedia, she champions free knowledge and open, participatory digital spaces.
