Adam will present local first applications that assist with provisioning fediverse applications on your local network using novel methods.

Firstly, Adam will demonstrate devuan-pi-gadgeteer, a utility that prepares a Raspberry Pi computer to provide USB services over to the computer that powers the Pi through it's own USB port.

Secondly Adam, joined by colleague Mathias, will present a report on a current project being developed, sig0lease. The presentation explains how sig0lease allows time-based leasing and updating of hostnames in the Internet’s Domain Name System (DNS) together with publication of service descriptions and service discovery information for services offered by each host joining the local network.

Adam planned to present a pre-release installation of littleFedi running on a tiny RPiZero 2W.

But for various reasons explained to me, they are delaying full release of the source code of littleFedi until a personal and security audit is complete, expected in 2-3 weeks.

In the meantime, I'd been given access a redacted source snapshot (without documentation) to build a demo for Berlin FediDay, but I was asked not to share this source code.

I was to attempt to build and deploy this on a RPi Zero 2W device for people to use and abuse during Berlin FediDay, giving an indication of how well it would perform & scale.

Unfortunately there was not enough time to prepare *BSD Pi and run the cross compiler build system from a heavily redacted tarball snapshot.
