Helping people to become more digital independent from bigtech. What can we learn from each other? How can we collaborate while acknowledging the differences between cultures, goals and organizations? Join us for this conversation.
The goal of this round table is to get to know each other, learn from each other & discuss possible future collaborations using collective autonomy.
Björn Wijers (~336ppm), operating under the name Burobjorn.nl, has been helping organizations for over twenty years to realise ideas and ambitions using open source software development, open standards, and interaction design. In doing so, he strives for affordable, secure, accessible, user-friendly, privacy-friendly, sovereign, and sustainable solutions. Björn has long been an advocate digital resilience, fairer copyright laws and greater privacy awareness.
Not only in his professional work, but also in his volunteer roles as former board member of the Open Netherlands Association, NLUUG, and as Chapter Lead of Creative Commons Netherlands. Björn actively promotes the practical implementation of public values. In 2026 he co-founded the Dutch initiative Doeidag.
